END OF YEAR 2018 NEWSLETTER
Dear Parent/Guardian,

Today 24th October. 2018 marks the end of the academic year for your daughter, indeed God is Ebenezer.  Note that your daughter has been released at 8:00 a.m. to come home.  We advice that she reaches home smartly dressed in her full school uniform.

REPORT CARDS

Your daughter comes home with the end of year progress report.  Please go through it with her and guide her accordingly.  She also comes home with holiday assignments, please help her to spend at least three hours a day on academics.  The holiday is long and we shall highly appreciate you when she comes back to school not having forgotten her school work.  Support her by providing the necessary materials for the assignments.

CANDIDATES 2019

Please ensure your daughter who is currently in form three and a candidate 2019 avails to us certified copies of the birth certificate, certified copy of her KCPE certificate and Kshs. 200/= for uploading exam details and for the photograph. These can be certified by her former primary head teacher or area assistant chief latest by Friday 2/11/2018 without fail. Note that visitors are not allowed in school when KCSE 2018 is on going and your daughter will miss out on the KCSE 2019 nominal roll. Please cooperate.

FEES PAYMENT

Attached please find the proposed Fees Structure 2019. Please pay fees in good time to ensure smooth and effective running for the best possible results for your daughter. Any fees arrears must be cleared before the year ends and at-least 70% of term one fees MUST be paid by opening day and the balance to be cleared in February. NON – PAYMENT OF FEES WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. All fees should be paid in school Account 110 365 0130 KCB KAKAMEGA BRANCH. Or via Lipa Na M-Pesa paybill No. 655267 and the student’s admission number plus sir name is the account number.  Payment of cash is totally discouraged.

BASIC EFFECTS AND POCKET MONEY

Attached is a list of items for personal use by the student.  Please ensure your daughter has these items by opening day.  If she has some, replenish those she is missing and replace if worn out.  Your daughter will be more comfortable in school when she has all the requirements.  If they all have these requirements it reduces on theft cases, hence enhances discipline and concentration of your daughter on school work resulting in good performance.  All form three students will be given new uniform upon payment of Kshs.6,250/= which will include a track suit for games.  For those in form 2 & 4 can pay Kshs.2,000/= only for track suit if they so wish to have.

We wish to firmly advise parents to give their daughters enough pocket money to last till half term. Students will then return to school with pocket money to last them the second half of the term.  In so doing we will minimize students anxiety as they keep waiting for parents to send money.  We will also relieve teachers of the stress to withdraw money for students.  We will also be disciplining our students on self control and responsible use of resources.  Kindly comply.

DISCIPLINE

As teachers, we have realized that the first disciplinarian to a child is the parent.  Charity begins at home.  Thank you parents for having ensured discipline of your daughter.  Those who have been called when there was misbehavior of their daughter co-operated with us and hence would like to report that our students are generally very disciplined.  Let us continue working together to enhance peak discipline.  Please note that at school spiritual nourishment was ensured by our Parish Priests, please ensure your daughter goes to church/mosque well known to you to avoid misguidance in this area.  With God, discipline is enhanced and blessings come our way.

We encourage you to give your daughter offering for the whole term 1.e. Kshs.150/=
